Crazy... but that's how it goes!

Life is starting to get a little crazy around here! It seems like yesterday we found out we were going to Japan and made future plans to go see West Side Story in late April with some great friends, as "one last fun thing to do" before we left. Then in a blink of an eye, it was late April! We went to see West Side Story last Thursday and it was awesome!!
It was Thursday, when I realized that it's almost May and we are leaving in late June. Slight panic has set in! I feel like there's so much left to do and so little time to do it! My last day of work is the 15th of May and it's hitting me pretty hard. I love my job and I adore the children I see walk through the doors of my preschool wing each Sunday. Each and every one of them has brought immesureable joy to my life. Seeing their sweet faces as they walk in the door smiling and hearing,"HI MS. ABBEY!" is one of the sweetest sounds my ears hear each week.  Not to mention the amazing women I share an office space and friendships with and how wonderful they are! I'm going to miss them!!
Josh and I sat down to make a schedule of everything we having going on over the next few months and our schedule is CRAZY!! Between three different pack out dates, one of which is actually a three day process, our trip to Tennessee to visit family, the girls last day of school, Josh's last day of teaching at the Naval Academy, planning Elliot's early birthday party, a wedding in New York, our 10th anniversary, Josh's birthday, Brownies, Daisies and swim team, these last two months are going to fly by faster than the previous two.  Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to get to Japan, but I'm also sad to leave our wonderful friends who have become like family, church that feels like home and a life that I love. I know we will find new friends who will become like family, a new church that feels like home and a new life with lots of new adventures, but it's always a little tough to leave it all behind.
